PMC in the Rain?

I'm riding my first PMC and current forecasts suggest rain may be a part of the first day. I'm looking for tips... Bernadette already suggested a good skull cap & booties as must haves. Should I consider different tires?
What's the collective wisdom?

Scattered showers, warmish temps. Shouldn't be a big issue. Skull cap & booties are a good idea. I would also recommend plastic bags in case it gets cold you can stuff your feet in them to try to keep them dry.
The biggest problem will be if we get the torrential rains again. Then all bets are off. Seek shelter until it passes and then proceed with caution and be very careful with puddles as they usually signify a hole in the road.
Of course I would be more concerned if the weather people said it was going to be sunny. The way they are wrong lately you are on the better end.
